This site provides information about the Blackwell Residents Action Group, and the work they are doing to improve the facilities and environment of Blackwell. You can visit the site to see what issues they are tackling, and to find out more about the group or contact the members of the committee.

If you live in Blackwell, you are automatically a member of the group, whether you decide to get involved with its activities or not. You can come to meetings and have your say on what you think the issues the group should tackle are, and what you think Blackwell needs.

You can view news items, events, and photos at any time without registering or logging into the site. If you wish to view the list of registered members and committee members, you must first register and log into the site.

You do not have to provide your address or phone number when you register - however, you must enter your name and provide a valid email address. You can edit your contact detail at any time.

Use the links near the top of the page to view Events, News, Photos, your Membership information, Resources and documents about the group and links to other related Web sites, and Contact information for the group and the site administrator.

After you log in, use the Members link to see a list of all registered members, and to locate committee members.

25/08/2008      BRAG Committee Meeting Report

Blackwell Residents’ Action Group held its monthly committee meeting and arranged a litter pick for September and an Autumn Fayre for the 4th October.

A letter will be sent to Bolsover District Council to find out the Councils’ plans for recycling in the area. Some market research will be read more »

The BRAG quiz winner has been announced as ... Tracey Taylor. A £10 prize has been presented to Tracey, who got 6 questions wrong - one less than many other people who entered.

18/07/2008      BRAG Committee Meeting report

Blackwell Residents’ Action Group welcomed two new faces at the monthly committee meeting as well as the regular committee.

07/07/2008      BRAG Stall raises £30 for funds

Congratulations to all who were involved in the running of the BRAG bric-a-brac stall on 28th June at Blackwell Community Centre. The stall was prt of the South Normanton Cats Sanctuary Summer Fair and raised £30 for funds.

30/06/2008      Mining memorial meeting postponed

The meeting planned for Tuesday 1st July at Blackwell Community Centre has been postponed. This meeting was due to plan the way ahead for a mining memorial for the village. However, due to personal reasons of one key project member, the meeting has put on hold. A new date will read more »
