On Friday 12th February, Dennis Skinner MP officially opened the new Post Office in Blackwell Community Centre.

06/01/2010      Council services disrupted in the snow

The bin lorries were out in Blackwell on Tuesday morning when the snow began to fall. Some houses had their black bins emptied, but others did not. South Normanton Contact Centre has also been closed, although is expected to reopen soon.

19/12/2009      Post Office opening date rescheduled to Tuesday 2nd February 2010

Blackwell Post Office is still coming back, but the date has now been rescheduled to 2nd February 2010 . The opening times will still be the same though - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 1pm.
