Date set for Post Office opening
It's official! Post Office services are coming back to Blackwell! The new post office will be run from the Community Centre on Woburn Close and will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am - 1pm. This is for a six-month trial period, so the message is: use your local post office, or we'll lose it again!
All the services from the old post office will be available, as well as the new facility of being able to obtain Euros or Dollars if you are going abroad. Although there will be no free cash machine, you will be able to withdraw money from most bank accounts via the post office cashcard machine.
The Post Office will return to Blackwell on Tuesday 26th January 2010. Put the date in your diaries and look forward to a happy new year!
